Discreet Mode

Blur images and hide usernames so you can safely browse the dashboard in public or shared spaces.

Discreet mode is a display-only privacy feature that reduces how much personal information is visible on screen. When enabled, profile photos and user-uploaded images are blurred throughout the dashboard and usernames are replaced with "Anonymous User."

This is useful when you need to adjust settings, check session data, or browse the dashboard in a public place, at the office, or on a shared screen.

Discreet mode is a visual filter only. It does not anonymize, delete, or modify any data in your account. Your usernames, images, and activity remain unchanged in the database.

How to enable discreet mode

Open Advanced settings

Navigate to SettingsAdvanced. You can also go directly to dashboard.researchanddesire.com/app/settings/advanced.

Toggle Discreet mode on

Under Display options, switch the Discreet mode toggle to the on position. The setting saves automatically.

Refresh the page

Refresh or navigate to another page to see the changes take effect across the dashboard.

Your sidebar should now show "Anonymous User" and any profile images should appear blurred.

To turn it off, return to SettingsAdvanced and switch the toggle back. Refresh the page to restore normal display.

Discreet mode requires an active subscription. The toggle appears under Display options on the Advanced settings page.
